I'm switching my uni course from English to English + American Studies - I think I've made the right choice - means I get to study cult American books instead of Jane Austen

NO WAY that’s insane how could you just not get lost in a historical novel such as Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice or Great Expectations. I think they are just as cultural as any American study.
